how do you release

Details: 
ok I know the trap catches them...but when it's time to release, how easy is it to get the critter (who's mad) out without getting bitten?

Cover the cage in a sheet or blanket to calm the animal down. Wait a few minutes, put on a heavy leather glove,open the door and let the critter run out.

I have a bunch of ground squirrels/chipmuks all over the place, and got myself many years ago setting a rat trap, not interested in that happening again, so not sure what size to get for these???

38-867-334-00 This cage is fantastic. Caught all 7 squirrels in 5 days. A little bait right outside the door and a little in front of the pad and more after the pad. Leads them down the golden path to capture.
