they tend to stay in thier form one day i shot a groundhog and the pellet blew through and loged itsself in a log i maneged to take it out with a pair of needled nose pliers and it was reletivley unskathed
can these bullets really brake sound barrier and if they can than can it make my crosman quest with a starting volocity of 1000fps brake soun barrier???
Don't no about breaking sound barrier but will increase velocity by 25%, so if your air rifle shoots 1000 fps the will increase your volocity to 1250 fps.
First of all i dont mean to get in your face but there is a huge difference between a bullet and a pellet. Yes these pellets can break the sound barrier as they should with your crossman quest because if it truely shoots 1000fps than these pellets will increase your muzzle velocity 20% which will put you supersonic at 1200 fps!
Yes it's possible, but they will be unstable and highly inaccurate. Stick to heavier lead pellets for accuracy and less wear and tear on the powerplant of your Quest due to the super light weight of these pellets. These are really only good for low power guns. Speed does you no good if you can't hit anything and you break the spring in your gun.
maybe if you shoot him in the right place like behind the ear, but in most cases being a larger animal like a coyote, prob just injure him and may run off to a slow death,
mabe depends on what type of pellets you used, these pellets have flatter trajectorys and dont have as much drop, so you may have to adjust your scope, but try a few shots and see how they fly.
Most likely, yes. If your gun is rated at 1000FPS they may go supersonic and your accuracy will suffer as they tend to tumble at such high speeds. Stick to quality lead pellets.
I would say yes, because there are lighter and faster than lead. It depends on your gun though, so I would do some target shooting and see if you need to resight your scope. I hope this helped. Good shooting!
