A: 
Thread the line from the wheel side with the line retainer up, retainer keeps the line over the wheel. Continue pulling the line through towards you and through the line stop. The line stop,swinging piece, should be pointing towards you when you finally pull the line all the way and when you let go the line crimps under it.
