1/8 is smaller than 1/4. 1/16 is the smallest.

Yes the 1/8 is much smaller. It doesn't encase the entire housing of the sight. It allows you to see only a pin or so at a time and only a small amount of light. It is more commonly used as a target peep. The 1/4 allows you to see all pins. But most importantly it lets a lot of light in at the pivotal low light hours.A:

Yes 1/8 of an inch is .125 inches and 1/4 inch is .250 inches... It would be akin to the difference in diameter between a toothpick (1/8" roughly) and a soda straw (1/4" roughly)Hope this helps...

there is a little plastic piece that slides over the broad head to tighten it up. I had to call G5 because the package I bought didn't have it they shipped one right out.A:
You will need to press the bow to relax the string...Draw the bow to locate where the peep should go on your string relative to your anchor point... Once you know where it should be on the string simply put the bow in a bow press of some sort and relax the tension on the string. Once the string is relaxed seperate the string into two even bundles of strands.... If you have a two color string this process is simple just seperate the two colors otherwise you should count the strands to make sure you have two equal bundles. At that point you simply place the bundles on either side of the peep in the angled string grooves in such a way tha the angle of the peep will line up with your line of sight at full draw... It sounds complicated but it really is rather simple. Once you have the peep installed it is highly recomended you "serve" the peep in the string or at least tie it in with some string or dental floss at least to help secure it. Of course your local pro-shop or bass pro outfitter will be more than happy to install it for you usually with a minimal fee... All else fails just check out Youtube there are a number of how-to videos on there about peep sight installation... Hope that helps.

i was wondering if anyone can explain what causes your g5 peepsight to be sideways when i draw back to shoot?.i know string is twisting and causing it to be sideways,so i need to know how to fix to make string not twist or is it the peepsight. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it very much thx.Answers

this is your string streching what you can do is spin your string loop (what you put your release onto if u dont know what that is) so when you pull back it is straight. when it is straight enough put a tiny bit of Crazy glue on the string loop to keep it in place.A:
It is caused by your string stretching. You need to get quality strings and that will fix your problem.

there is a couple way to fix this. you can add a twist or take out a twist to the string. Or if you are shooting a D-loop you can remove it and re-tie one on making sure that the D-loop is in line with the peep sight when you tie the new one onA:
A lot depends on the quality of your bowstring... Most high end bowstrings are pre stretch and counter twisted to prevent peep rotation. That being said even the best strings have to be adjusted to the individual... If you have your peep served in you can slide the lower serving a bit one way or the other to achive "some" rotation but your best bet is to have a shop look at it for you and possibly press the bow and re-install the peep in the right place and serve it in for you. Youtube has a number of diy videos that help to explain how to remedy this problem for you...Hope that helps
