A: 
we had squirrels and racoons spinning the plate so we added the varment buster. Since then, they are getting a shock. Butm our motors have been failing.

Yes its a metal spinner plate which is a plus. My moultrie one the varmints ate right off kinda ticked me off.

we have had one for a year now works great. Did have one problem where a small piece of corn stuck and keep the spinner from throwing the corn out.

6 volt lantern battery. I suggest a re-chargeable battery and a solar pane. that way battery life wont be an issue

only takes spring top batteries ( im sure you know this )...there is a spring top battery at bass pro for 15 dollars it tells you in the directions which ones it will take can order off internet. hope this helps

well not a easy question to answer but there are 3 different levels low,medium and high and you can set it in between them however you want if you choose i just put it on the very least one and it throws out enough corn for me the medium setting is a lot.

The timer has a dial on it that shows Min-Max. I set it at approximately the 10-11 o'clock position and it is usually enough for the 7 deer I have been seeing lately. When it gets closer to the hunting season I usually up the amount to help keep the deer coming in the area.

ours spreads it pretty well. ours are about 5 feet off of the ground and we get a good 5-7 foot spread.

spreads it around. I'd say about a 5-6 ft area. Has a spindle that spins as the corn falls out so it does spread it really well its never in a pile. We've had one for a year now has worked great.
