It comes with 2 sets of prongs. The standard set that was already on the collar worked fine for my lab. There is an extra longer set that comes with it that I am sure would work.

It does use the 3 pins connected to a board similar to a USB port. It slides into the remote and collar via about a 1/2 inch wide jack.A:
The reciever and Transmitter both have a three small pin area to plug into. They are both the same. The charger has three small holes... it doesn't matter if you plug in upside down or right side up... It still chargesDetails:
