A: 
Gotta have something. These things will spin if they get fouled. I have always thought that a snap swivel is a little too much hardware for the action of this lure. I usually attach a # 12 or #14 barrel swivel to the eyelet bar by bending the eyelet slightly, putting on the swivel, and then bending it back. I then tie directly to my line. I have found that the eyelet bar is necessary for proper action and adjustments.
