Yes, the manufacturer says you can add color paint, however, this is a water base so you must use a water base color paint.

It works on a lot of product and is just as good as carpet. You might refer to the manfuacturer web site to view how to apply. http://www.ultratuff.net/utmindex.h...

We do a lot of fishing and are considering this instead of new carpet. How well does it clean up after a day of blood and guts from fish and bait? Also, it says it covers 50 sq. ft. per gallon, but I read that two coats were required - does that mean it would take 8 gallons to cover appx. 200 sq. ft of deck?

It took two gallons to do my 19ft boat (about 90 sq ft) and that was two coats...I think that the 50 sq ft is with the two coat recommendation. I have found that it cleans up very well after a full day fishing...I just pull through the car wash and spray it down...I did have to use a brush when I accidently let some fish blood bake all day, but it didn't stain.

I don't recall the coverage - you will definitely need two coats though. Call the company in Colorado - they can give you some guidance as to actual coverage. Do an internet search to find them. They are very helpful!!

No. The carpet would need to be remove and the surface prep completed before trying to use this product. The surface would need to be completely clean and dry.

The carpet has been removed from that area because of a fire. I think trying to re-carpet the area would be very difficult. I'm looking for a product that I can spray coat the area to deaden sound and not be affected by the chemicals that are in that area.

Yes, the epoxy primer seals the area you want to use this on. It also gives the tuff coat something to bite into initially so it wont peel
