Are these hard collars that can be used to secure a trailer hook on the primary hook or are these just rubber bands that would be easily broken or stretched so the trailer hook would come off?

I was actually wondering the same thing myself. It is a little stiffer than a rubber band and looks like it should hold to a hook but I think it may be a little loose on the jig or spinnerbait hook.
