This brand is used in a lot of professional kitchens, I am a Chef and member of the ACF (American Culinary Federation) and personally keep one of these knives in my tackle box. They work very well, hold an edge OK (compared to my work kit knives- >$500), just make sure to carry a sharpening stone and a carbide sharpener just in case it gets a little dull. Also, if you tend to like a heavier knife (I do) this one is pretty light.
