I was just wondering if there was a scent to this that will affect the fishing experience. Is it scent-free?Answers

Although I have not done any scientific testing on this product, I don't believe there is. I have used it extensively on walleye, bass, and panfish fishing from boat, shore, and ice fishing. I usually outfish everyone around. If there is any scent distraction, the benefits far overshadow. If someone did do a scientific test and found this product turns fish away, I would be shocked.

I spray it on at the end of each outing as I put my equipment back in the rod box. It will soak down into the layers of line. It works best when you let it dry, but also helps if you apply it and use it wet. Don't forget to put a light spray on your guides!A:
Just spray it on the line while still on the reel. It will cast alot better 2 or 3 squirts and your good to go.

Just spray on a few pumps worth, and allow it to soak in. It works best if allowed to soak in over night.

you can spray it right on the spool after its on but it helps more if you spray it on as you're spooling the line onto the reel.

Just spray your spool with line on it. It will soak around halfway down in the line.

As the directions read: "Treat rod guides for extra casting distance. Spray onto reels, tackle and baits to protect finish and keep soft baits from sticking".

I use the stuff religiously and clean and spray my guides after each fishing trip. It does not keep the lake scum off completely but I don't know how much build up I would have if I did not use it..A:
Yes, It works great as a sun screen and keeps the rod real clean. I treat my guides and it seems to help with longer casts.
