Twitch it a few times then let it drop - reel in the slack while it does this b/c you may get a hit then just repeat that again.

A:
I use 1/8 or 1/4 oz jig head with the hook entering the slot cavity then exiting through the top. A steady retrieve will engage the flappin' flutter in the tail and draw strikes. different weights and speeds for varying depths.

A:
I generally fish the 6" and i use a 5/0 worm hook walkin the dog and then sometimes just letting it drift through the current. With a 4" I would step way down to a 2/0 gamakatsu superline. They are remarkable for hard mouthed fish.

A:
I have never been a big fan of the super flukes, the magnums are ok, and yes you can fish it the same way (jerk, retrieve, jerk, jerk, retrieve) or you can let it sink and twitch it a little on a slow retrieve. As for the hook size, i use a 3/0 on the 6" so id probbably go with a 2/0 or even a 1/0 on the 4", so long as its Extra Wide Gap hook.
