"The thermal blanket consists of a thin sheet layer of aluminum to reflect and retain body heat. The opposite side is which is designed to absorb the sun’s heat.In combination, this will help to raise the body temperature of someone who is hypothermic or help to keep warm on cool nights if in the wilderness.

The blanket itself does not have a rated temperature as it does not make heat nor is it affected by constant exposure to sunlight. In other words, it will not breakdown with repeated sun exposure under normal use."
