Will be using a hose to run the unit off of a 20# propane tank and hanging the unit from the top of a tent.

When used in any inside area, provide a fresh air opening of at least six square inches (39 square centimeters).

There really aren't any heaters that are safe to leave running while you sleep due to carbon monoxide concerns and the risk of the heater falling over or something falling onto the heater and starting a fire.

Bass Pro sells some heaters that are safe to use indoors while you are awake. Look at these:
