Customer Reviews   Description   Outdoor Answers
Slightly heavier than a 5-inch Senko, Yamamoto’s 4-inch Kreature can be cast weightless for a slow, horizontal descent. Raise your rod tip, and you can burn it back across the water’s surface like a buzzbait. This versatile lure’s performance is outstanding when Texas rigged for flipping or Carolina rigged for those bottom-hugging fish. The Kreature’s forward arms swim during the fall, and when it comes to rest on the bottom, the slightest movement will cause the rear paddles to spring forward and back while the floating tail tantalizes fish.

Not really sure if I would use a Kreature to flip mats. Kind of bulky as far as penetration goes. Around wood and bullrushes, absolutely.

Sure it is. I wouldn't take it over a wacky rigged senko in shallow water, however. My best success with this bait has been Texas-rigged with 5/16 oz. weight in shallow water or on a lead, FB head jig in deep water.

Yes it is... I sometimes add a 1/16th sinker to get it to sink a little faster but casting it weightless is no problem.

A:
They have a great action rigged weightless Texas, however the tend to get hung up due to the appendages if your fishing weed beds.
