You can use a trailer but I've not had a great deal of success using one, different result on a spinnerbait, however. Suggest using a trailer hook on either spinner or buzzbait if fish are missing it. Buzz baits are frequently used in some areas for red fish...trout not at all to my knowledge.

Definitely use a trailer! This bait is great for big bass but a redfish would probably destroy it.

They are all good colors, i throw black early morning and late night, then switch to lighter colors around cover. I like to throw white around trees and grass, and chartreuse chartreuse/white around rocks and coves and sandbars.

Not sure if you get diff weights but about 4 inch for the one I have. Think it is a 1/4 ounce.
