I was thinking of getting this and the reviews show it works for bass. But i was wondering if it works on rainbow trout. More specifically Kern River trout. Also can you and how does it work on live night crawlers. Thanks in advance

A: 
for soft plastics, use the spike it PAINT, not DYE. the paint works better in my trials: it's opaque, which is much more visible than the dye. i highly reccommend the spike it dip-n-glow PAINT.
