They are longer then the average 1/4-3/8 jig. The owner darter heads are average length, and these are longer by a 1/4" or so.

They are 4.4 cm from the front of the hook eye, to the outside of the curve in the hook bend.

I returned mine as they were much longer than the Owner version.

surf fishing-San Lucas

Details: 
never saltwater fished before. A Bass Pro person gave me suggestions, and I ordered Kastmaster, Krocka dile spoons, bomber, diawa salt pro minnow, and darter head jigs and Berkley gulp jerk shad. What will I need to rig all these things and how to accomplish that rigging?

A: 
the jig heads are used to hold the gulp jerk shad. ALl of the other lures you mentioned can attach directly to your main line or leader line with a knot of your choice, I recommend non slip loop knots or palomar knots.
