The folks at Lucky Craft have been working very closely with Bass Pro Shops Pro Fishing Team member Rick Clunn to develop this innovative crankbait. It's based on Rick's research into water displacement theory, which explains the unique flat head designed to channel water out and over, creating a turbulence trail that bass can follow even in dingy water. The super-thin diving lip delivers extra depth and is squared off for a tight wiggle and to bounce easily off rocks and timber. Oval front split ring eliminates line stress; unique color patterns provide new looks for pressured bass. All Lucky Craft Rick Clunn Crankbait models dive between 0'-4'.

A:
Lucky Craft baits are very expensive, but are some of the best on the market. LC uses the .5-2.0 scale to describe the different sizes in weights between cranks.

LC RC 0.5 - 1/4 oz.
LC RC 1.5 - 3/8 oz.
LC RC 2 - 5/8 oz

A:
different size bait, and hooks. .5 smallest and 3.5 largest. depends on what size fish you are chasing/have available. Small creek in Pa. would be great for 0.5. I used in Potomac for smallies (around Shephardstown) throw up stream and bring back faster than current. Small lakes have some bigger fish and used 1.5 and 2.5 with and without rattles in Md. Norm use larger versions here in Fla - also they have deep diver version. If you are cost conscious, check out the KVD 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 about 10 bucks cheaper and if you go clunn, buy ON-SALE. Colors are whatever works in YOUR lakes/stream

Try the new Strike King KVD 1.5 and 2.5 shallow cranks. They work really well. Not as big of a color selection, but a whole lot cheaper.

The rattling lure should indicate "rattlin" or "RT". The silent will state so. If no designation it will be silent.

A:
When you are looking at all the different cranks under the picture where it says "Lucky Craft so and so Crankbait" it will either say rattling or it won't say rattling. If it doesn't say rattling then it's silent. Yeah, it's aggravating. As far as them being DD or MR??? They all say what they are in the title as well. For example- Lucky Craft Rick Clunn Rattling Deep Diving Crankbaits...the ones that say 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 2.5 etc etc are all the same depth. Wake Baits also say "Wake Bait in the title.

Blue bream is also a good choice. If you have ever seen young bluegills in shallow water close to shore, this color selection is pretty close.
