Yes, the windows will zip up all the way. If you zoom in on the photo you will be able to see the zippers. However, the windows are mesh. Which you can see thru.

I am not where it is right now, but about 14" long when rolled up. It is narrower than my sleeping pad, which I roll the tent inside of.

I am 6' and was happy, but you may depend more on how broad in the shoulders you are. A day pack you may use as a pillow would fit, but no way you or I would fit with a full pack inside.
