Can't answer the arch support. I am a woman and our arches are different than men. I bought these because they didn't offer them in the ladies. But I will tell you they are padded nicely and comfortable. Everyone demands different things so I suggest trying them on if you have a store near you but if you don't, just get yourself the right size and order on line. You won't be dissatisfied.

with liner sock and heavy socks a 11 with just heavy sock a 10 1/2 should be ok. i wear light cotton work socks with a thin liner sock and an 11 is just right, i wear an11 in a tennis shoe with just cotton socks.
