Vanish Transition is virtually invisible underwater so fish don't see it, yet it ''transitions'' to either gold or crimson red above water for higher visibility to the angler. Simply put, the fish aren't spooked and anglers can detect strikes faster. Rigging the senko wacky style weightless. I have the same setup and it produces just fine. thats the only way I fish the senko. It's great! Good luck.

i would start out at 10# and see how things went. i like to keep going as light as i can till i cant land fish or break off too much.
then i go back to the next pound test.
im a firm believer in the lighest you can catch fish with the better.

I would opt for the flourocabon in the 10-12 lb range. I was using 20 lb. flourocarbon on my baitcaster for pike and had more overuns and 2 major backlashes.
