A: 
The action with zoom will be exceptional during light hours. On the other hand you have to remember that the more you zoom into a low light target the less you will see. The larger the objective the better light gathering. 10x50 zoom will work good in low light just keep the zoom out until the sun rises and then you have the best of both worlds.
