A 3/0 or even a 4/0 would probably work good for you in this situation if you are mainly using your soft plastic Texas rigged.

5/0 is the biggest. I suggest going with the 4/0 hook. It isn't humongous like the 5/0 and can be used in most worms and tubes.

5/0 is bigger than a 1/0. Single digits hook sizes get smaller as the numbers get larger. ie.. a number 10 hook is smaller the a number 8 hook. however the opposite is true for the "o" series. 1/0 is small than a 5/0. I know it is confusing but hopefully this helps.

Yes the 1/0 is smaller and 5/0 is the biggest in these hooks. I usually use a 3/0 on my plastic worms that are 5-6 inches. You may want a bigger hook if you plan on using plastic worms that are 8 to 10 inches. I hope this answer helps.
