If you shoot your bow alot I would say a drop away rest. It is more accurate. If you shoot alot with a whisker biscut it will tear your flethchings off. If you don't practice much the whisker biscut is easier to operate.

This is a matter of personal preference. I have owned two of the Trophy Ridge drop aways and love them. However if you're a guy/gal who likes walking through the woods with an arrow nocked, then you'll probably want to go with a biscuit, or something that holds the arrow in place. There's actually a new rest on the market that acts like a biscuit, but retracts its whiskurs. It's called the Vanishing Rest from TriVan. I have two friends who put it on their bows. They say it's awesome. Only $90 too. Hope this helps.
