Don't know if it helps but i was told by bp staff that it depends greatly on ur set up......i shoot a hoyt ultraelite at 60LBS and 27.5" draw and was told not to put any helical, just the slightest offset if anything at all.........hope this helps save some possible frustration and maybe bad reviews
i prefer helical. reason being. when the arrow clears the string, you get more spin to stabilize the arrow. i have noticed much tighter shot groups this way.
I know they are shorter and weight less which means they are great if you hunt out west because you can lighten your arrow, but what are the other differences or benefits you get from the blazer vanes?
You really answered your own question.. thats just about the only benefits I can think is different frrom a blazer. I know I love mine and wouldn't shoot any other fletching on my arrows though
They have less air resistance which means they will fly straighter and spin faster. They are also more durable due to the stiffness. duravanes have too much drag when shooting a through style rest also.
