I always try to fish a spinnerbait but have no idea how to catch a fish on one. I'm great with buzzbaits, crankbaits, and plastic worms but not spinnerbaits!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Try a steady retrieve along grass lines and docks. But you can also do a jig and retrieve method. Both work well for me a former Virginian.

Fishing with spinnerbaits can be an awesome way to catch fish. There are different techniques you can use. You can "burn them" which means to reel them in fast, or you can let them sink a bit, reel them, and stop for a sec. and reel in again. On the bass pro web site look at some Of Kevin VanDam's video tips on spinnerbait techniques. They help alot!

ive had my best luck on windy days making it land near overhead trees or any above water cover and letting it sink bass usually strike it before it hits bottom.another way is to run it slowly along the bottom or pick it up and drop it off the bottom.
