I also know that some pepper spray makes you turn the button/clip thing so you can spray it and so that it doesn't spray on accident. i was wondering if this pepper spray also has that feature.

This spray has a "safety" feature. You have to turn the push button to the active position for it to work.

All aerosol products will eventually lose pressure over time. Most defense sprays last for only two years from their manufacture date. Because all SABRE products use only the best available components and formulation ingredients, all SABRE civilian products have a four year shelf life!
