Strike King's minnow-shaped ZTOO is three times softer and up to thirty times stronger than other plastic baits. Formulated from patented Cyber-Flexxx® material with fish-attracting heavy salt, these revolutionary ZTOO soft baits are virtually impossible to break and their added flexibility produces more action than normal soft plastics. Salt-impregnated to hold the bite longer. Drop-shoting and Texas style are the most popular rigging techniques.

I recently purchased this bait and tried it out. I'm using gamakatsu 3/0 offset hooks and I want the bait to fall slowly. It just kind of sits on top of the water. Any information would be great.
The hook choice is perfect however,You need to insert a small nail weight (either lead or tungsten). the trick is to heat up the tip of a safety pin with a lighter, then stick it into the body of the bait under the gill area. Then insert the weight quickly into the small hole you've just created. This weight will give it a nice horizontal fall.
use at least 5/0 and flourocarbon leader for pike, bass no leader and it should work just find. the hooks are your sink wt, try different sizes for your style
this bait is very bouyant and takes alot to get it to sink. I use a 5/0 gamakatsu offset wide gap and it still floats. Try using a nail weight in the middle of the body to get it to sink. Experiment with the amount of weight to get the sink rate that you want. good foshing
I would use a 4/0 or a 5/0 hook and double zulu rig two of these soft jerkbaits. I learned this technique from KVD on a video in the bass pro shops video archive.
