Well yes and no. I have used a mini crankbait much like this and I have indeed caught bass on it. However, a bait this size is more geared toward a smaller panfish like bluegills, pumpkinseeds, and crappies. It is effective for spotted bass though. I doubt it is the greatest crank for targeting largemouth bass but maybe in cold seasons it would work well. I am not sure. Hope this helps.
