These are one of my favorite lures for bass. Cast it out a mile and get them on a straight wind. Catch a lot of bluegill too. My favorite are the 1/2 ounce black and chrome and the blue ones

Yes, these lures can be used for any fish that feed on shad and minnows. When selecting lure colors, the best approach is through matching the hatch. Try to match the forage that the fish are feeding on as closely as possible. Also, when using lures in very clear water, try using neutral colors (white, silver, black, etc.) and when fishing murky waters, use more attractant colors (chartruse, firetiger, etc.).

In the French River delta, casting from the river towards shore, right near the edge of the weed bed. 8 ld test, have done very well with both silver and nickel versions, going to try new ones this year

What size tail blade?

Details: 
What size tail blade comes on the 1/2oz model? Would it be considered a Colorado blade or Indiana blade?

The blade on mine came off while fishing. The slip ring and swivel are still intact.
