Yes it does and I believe it is 20 lb. test. I would recommend re-spooling with 10 lb. when it's time to replace the line as you will get longer casts with the lighter line and 10 lb. test is fine for catching most freshwater fish including large carp and catfish.

I replaced line with 120yrd of 20#test spider wire proubly about half that with standard mono would be about right

had to remove at least 20 yards of line without a catch line winds up looser so reel will not wind up ll the way.
