How accurate is this grip?

Details:
Im looking for a grip which should be affordable and accurate, I am between this one and the grip master with scale, when I say accurate I don't mean capable of weigh ounces, I don't care if the mechanical one depends of my judgment but it should depend only of my judment. Thanks in advance

At first I was pleased with this product as it was accurate and easy to use, but i then noticed it started giving false readings and the grippers would not close. I would recomend something other than Berkley.

Yes... and no. But in Berkley's defense, there really is no perfectly "accurate" scale available at this price point. What I have found with fish scales is to buy what you can afford and what you feel is comfortable in your hand and of course what strokes your fancy to begin with... once that is taken care of, just calibrate it (if possible) and/or test it with known weights, and if it's off by a certain amount, then just make the decision whether it's enough to worry about or just account for that difference in your weight measurements. In tournament and/or DFG situations, this isn't a good idea in which case MAKE SURE you double check accuracy with a known weight source or ensure you have the ability to calibrate prior to weigh in.

It does as well as kilograms, but it will not weigh accurately over time.

A:
Yes, but most of the time I just grab the fish by hand, turn it on, zero it out, attach it to the lip, then weigh. I feel like I will enjoy it in Canada with Pike, but for bass I wouldn't purchase this one again
