Developed in the l950’s by Howard Worden, the Rooster Tail is one of the most productive lures ever invented. The action of the spinning blade in combination with the colorful, pulsating hackle tail makes the Rooster Tail irresistible to any gamefish. It’s a lure that consistently catches fish. Fishermen across North America and abroad are using Rooster Tails successfully for trout, bass, perch, crappie stripers, pike, steelhead, salmon and other gamefish. 1/16 oz; hook size 12.

I mainly fish for bass when I freshwater fish. I have these and they work great but somedays the colors don't work. What color should I get for trout and bass?
Usually a minnow-type color(like a shad for instance) or something very bright or chartreuse, but on rainy days when the sun isn't always visible, you should use a very shiny or flashy color to attract the fish when thy can't see dull or dark colors.
well best advice i can give u for bass is check the water visisbilty first, then the sky. if its a clear day and the waters clear day use something silver and blackish brown. if its cloudy and clear, or the waters tainted/ dirty, use the gold and chartreuse or gold and white. for bass also i use anywhere from 1/6 ounce to 1/4. my best color would be the chartreuse 1/4 ounce mylar. good luck
Slow to medium. Are you fishing in lakes or rivers? I always had trouble keeping the blades spinning even in current. Try using any with gold blades or go buy panther martin fly spinner no.2 gold/orange.
