mount on floor of boat, but wrap in plastic window screening with cable tie at top and make hokes for water output and wires..tie to small brick with cable ties

Details: 
It would be nice to know, before I order, that this pump will fit in the tight quarters of my boat's bilge. What are the mounting dimensions? Can this pump be mounted to the side of a bulkhead or is it only mountable from the bottom?

I would say without measuring it to be exact, the unit is 3 1/2 inch wide and 4 1/2 inch long that would be the footprint. If you read the comments about the pump you can look for it to last 2 years. If your space is limited you might try looking at a rule unit. They have a very small footprint however they do stand a little taller. I don't know any thing else about a rule pump. Good luck
