I reviewed a Dowco custom cover that needed to be purchased via a BPS marine service dept. I provided the store with the boat hull ID number. THe Dowco is awesome. VEry heavy cover and lots of tiedowns. THe covers listed in the BPS catalog are all junk. Dowco claims to custom fit a cover for any boat.I have a 17 ft, Tracker and the cover cost me $330. which is a great investment to protect a $15000 boat.

I ordered and received a "exact fit" cover for my Bass Tracker Pro 16. After installing the cover, I noticed that it only had 4 loops for tie down on each side. the photos for the product shows 7 tie downs per side. i also received some 12 foot straps(4 each), which appears to be for straping completely around the boat and cover. the instructions are hazy. I expected this to be a transportable type cover. tell me what I got...l Richard....Answers

I have a Tournement V-18 special edition. It has a single console and was made in 2000. The listings skip this year. Since there is only one set of V-18s to pick from I feel I can only select from that set but, they start in 2002. Is this the set I should use?Answers

I has the same problem with fit for my Tracker as well. My solution was ordering a custom cover thru Bass Propart dept. with a company called Dowco. The new cover which cost slightly more that the most costly cover listed in BPS catalogs, fits like a glove. I also put my old cover over the new one to keep the sun's harmful rays away from the Dowco. Hope this helps even though my reply is 7 months removed from your question.
