I am looking for other fellow hunters that live in Texas and can advise me of some good food plot seeds to plant for our area. I am in the San Antonio area and want to plant a plot this Sept. Any advise would certainly be appreciated!

planting late summer

Details: 
I have had some land cleared specifically to plant wheat and thinking of using Biologic as well. The property in in s.e. Alabama and I would like to know the best Biologic to plant. The soil sould be ready to plant hopefully by late August.

all biologic seed is very good from my experience. im in east texas and i plat hotspot, green patch plus, and maximum every year. but dont plant till early september or there wont be any plants left by bow season!

Depending on the soil, and what you are looking to get out of the plot, and specifically what you are willing to spend for the plot, I would say use BioLogic Maximum. I have used it before with good results. It can be expensive, but it does draw deer well and is full of good nutrition. Make sure you test the soil and apply the right fertilizer, however, or it will not grow!
