If you add it to there feed they will consume it and change color. The draw back is the shelf life is not as long after harvesting the worms.

The dip has a garlic scent added. If you want to add anouther kind of scent i would dip the plactic at home and allow the garlic wear off for a few days. Then put them in your box for next fishing trip. You can then add what ever scent you like.

Spike-it is scented so you really don't need to add additional scent but I would dip first and then spray.

Its better to dip the tail only about an half inch into the bottle only to get the tip of the worms tail died. Works well with green pumpkin trick worm. good color result.

All of the Plastics that I use now have thier own scent or salt added to them, so I no longer add any type of scent. (i.e. Baitmate, hawg Juice )

Once you Dip a bait in this, it will have that Garlic taste and there is no need to add any more scent.

I even Dip Scented Plastic Baits in the Garlic Dye (i.e. Power Worms, Gulp, Yum and Strike King) and the Bass here in Texas still Eat-Em-Up !!!

This product gives you color and scent that lasts for a long time. I would say dipping it and then sraying it with a scent spray is not needed.
