I purchased the model that is supposed to fit merc 75-200 hp carburated and EFI. I asked at BPS before I bought it if it would fit a merc 90 hp 4 stroke and was told yes. It does not fit, is there one that does?

Isn't the purpose of the transom saver to relieve the weight stress of the motor during travel off the transom?Answers

yes the transom saver is for that purpose but the switch mounted at the stern of the boat makes it easier to place the transom saver on the motor and trailor when you fish alone and have to load the boat aloneAnswers
