I have always used powerbelts and did not know if using lube is requiered with these sabots.

A: 
No, not needed any lube for saboted bullets. Sabots made of "self lubricated" material.
For the best performance do not use lubrication with sabots!

you honestly dont have to, but it wouldn't hurt to do it either. it will make loading alot easier and it will also help with the fouling problems that most people run into with a muzzle loader
