yes. just about any elongated bullet will work better than a patch and ball. i shoot a 50 cal thompson center encore. i have shot many types of bullets. now i shoot the cva slickload bullets. they work great for me. good luck. sherman

It would depend on the twist of your rifling. The Maxi's need a faster twist to stabilize. If your twist is in the 1:66 range, it probably wouldn't work. If your rifle has 1:28, 1:32 or something like that, it should work. The only way to tell is to shoot some and see how they pattern.A:
yes as long as the rifleing is no lower than 1-48 i shoot them out of my hawken 50 cal and they are very good grouping bullets. they hit hard and easy to clean1 of 1
