No! Patching conical bullets not recommended. You can use them with lube in the grooves only.

In Oregon the bullet cannot be more than twice the diameter in length. Do these bullets meet this rule.

yes. just about any elongated bullet will work better than a patch and ball. i shoot a 50 cal thompson center encore. i have shot many types of bullets. now i shoot the cva slickload bullets. they work great for me. good luck. sherman

It would depend on the twist of your rifling. The Maxi's need a faster twist to stabilize. If your twist is in the 1:66 range, it probably wouldn't work. If your rifle has 1:28, 1:32 or something like that, it should work. The only way to tell is to shoot some and see how they pattern.

yes as long as the rifleing is no lower than 1-48 i shoot them out of my hawken 50 cal and they are very good grouping bullets. they hit hard and easy to clean
