The reel warranty through Shimano (and for all Shimano reels) is one year from the purchase date to the original purchaser. Per Shimano:

Shimano warrants to the original purchaser that this product will be free from non-conformities in material or workmanship for the period of one year from the date of purchase.

A 200 series is good for reds . I have one thats 14 years old and works like new. worth every penny . I rig mine with fusion 24/12 , a little testy casting sometimes but thats the string for ya..

I like the 200GT and the Sustain 4000.

Put some 20lb power pro braid on it and tie some 20lb fluorocarbon leader on with a #10 spro swivel (tiny).

You'll be in business.

I use a med /heavy allstar 7 ft . for saltwater. Fresh water I'd say a light/med 7 ft.

USE IT WITH A Shakespeare’s Ugly Stik Trigger RODS BECAUSE THERE PERFECT FOR ALL KIND OF FISHING AND ARE VERY GOODFOR SALTWATER TRUST ME ON THIS I LIVE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA AND IV GOT SNOOK , BASS , CATFISH EVEN STINGRAYS AND TRUTLES IN THE 50+ TRY IT
