Yes, they run a bit small in the waist. Order one size larger than your normal waist size.

Hello,
I'm not sure about your inseam, however, you will need to order one size larger in the waist. The bibs I purchased fit great for the inseam, however, I'm a 30" inseam. I had to return the original pair due to the waist size. I exchanged for one size larger waist and all was good. If Carhartt has your inseam size listed, you should be ok.

Mine are quilt lined.
Be sure to order one size larger in the waist. The inseams seem to be true to fit however, the waist sizing runs a little tight...
