A: 
It is a typical marine horn, but is not very loud and would be tough to hear. If you are in a power boat and under way, it wont be heard. Behind a grill? like a car? It fit fine in my boat, but i don't know why type of grill your trying to put it under. But it is a very small compact horn. Hope that helps
