Billy Baits’ Double Cavitator sports a unique ringed design which creates an enormous smoke trail at speeds of 2–20 knots. Its nickel-plated brass head produces a magnetic field in the water to bring fish charging in. A:
Very similar to other billy baits or trolled baits. i have used 6 Foot 300lbs mono Leader with a 7/0 or 8/0 hook. It's really up to the fisherman, with or without an attached ballyhoo it will still work it just depends on the fish. I would prefer an attached bait for added scent but then again even dipping the actual Lure in some menhaden oil works great.
