I use this for minnows all the time but this is not an insulated bucket. The main concern on keeping minnows alive is the temperature. If you keep ice blocks or cubes in the water they will keep long times. These bait buckets have the best bubblers on the market but if you let the water get warm, the minnows will always die.

Minnows hate this bait bucket so much they commit mass suicide within 15 mins of being put in there!

This is powered by 12v so it needs cords to attach to a 12v battery for the power.

This uses a 12V battery like in your car or you can change the clips to a cigarette lighter adapter if you want to.
