I use Fireline on the 10 with no problems so far. Do not troll though, the line tightens on the spool to the point that casting is impossible.

Yes. But, I would buy the Zebco Omega... no clicking noise when you retrieve plus the Zebco has three pick-up prongs on the spindle were the Diawa only has two.
