I wear 29/32ish and I got a size M. The length was perfect, and there's some room in the waist. It has adjustable strap on the inside, and it's nice to make a perfect fit.

They are thick, but not insulated. I wore these duck hunting in southeastern Idaho, and put some pants on underneath and I was perfect.

They are perfect for cold weather bird hunts, nice and warm. I do wear them under waders, but the bottom the leg is pretty bulky (wide leg) which could bother some people. I do like that they have draw strings at the ankle, when cinched and tied they keep the legs from riding up when you put your waders on.

These are fairly lightweight material - maybe a bit sturdier than your typical pair of khaki pants. Good for early season hunts in mild temperatures. They're not going to keep you warm when it's cold out unless you wear polar fleece or something like that under them. (I'd recommend ordering a size larger than normal if you plan on wearing bulky long johns).

It sits just below the belly buton. But depending on the person everyones is different. They are made for womens figures so you would probably be fine!

i am usually a size 29-30 in jeans or size 8-9 in other pants the medium was comfortable but i still found it a bit big. With long johns underneath you would be fine. But the waist is adjustable as well which is great

I have ordered women's hunting pants in the past and they are low waisted. I am looking for a traditional BDU fit at the waist.
Thank you,

These fit perfectly. For me, there's nothing more uncomfortable than trying to keep you pants on. They come up to the waist ( past the hips) but not above my bellybutton.

Mine are about 2" below the navel. That's somewhat below-the-waist on me. I also prefer the traditional at-the-waist fit. But these pants fit okay -- they're not nearly as low waisted as some ladies' pants I've tried!

Hi Linda -

I would probably say these pants would be lower than you'd like. I typically prefer low-rise jeans and I didn't feel like these were particularly high on me.

Good luck in your searching!
