It works great for my 2006 Mercury 25hp 2 stroke. Can't see why it wouldn't work for your Yamaha.

1. One hydraulic PT-35 unit.
2. One wire assembly with toggle switch.
3. One switch plate and rubber boot.

Comes with it. I didn't use the switch provided as I wired it directly to my trim switch on my shifter.

Do your self a favor and buy the bigger unit. These things are designed very well, although I wouldn't recommend overloading them with a larger than recommended weight and thrust engine.
