This passed spring a number of the crappie I caught had the entire lure in
there mouth, I think the size is fine and
so is the size of hooks. If the hooks were any smaller they would he hard to remove.

These lures are 1.5 inches long. I use them for trout, because trout have small mouths. These baits are just the right size. Crappies have larger mouths than trout (relative to their bodies), so these lures will work for them too. They will be too big for most bluegills.

The lure in the picture is a Cordell Big-O, the exact same size as the Norman Tiny N. The fish in that picture is a 2.5-lb, 17-inch Rainbow Trout.

In the other picture is a small but aggressive 12-inch Rainbow. I took 8 small bluegill out of its stomach. The bluegill shown are about the size of the Norman Tiny N, some smaller, some bigger.
